1. Make sure you use a personal on-stage, or in-ear monitor when performing. This will ensure you hear yourself clearly so you do not over-sing and hurt your voice.

 

  1. Always keep cough drops with you.

 

  1. Always have a bottle of room temperature water with you. You should drink one before singing, but don’t forget to go to the bathroom before hitting the stage!

 

  1. Remember that singing is a privilege. God did not bless everyone with good singing voices, so enjoy it, and appreciate the opportunity you have been given to share your gift with others. That’s all for now.
